Morrissey , who last week revealed the initial dates of his fall North American tour, has unveiled the run's full itinerary.
After wrapping up his current run through the U.K., Morrissey heads stateside for a pair of mid-September radio-station festivals in California, and then launches his headlining outing in Washington, DC, on Sept. 29. The tour includes two-night stands in Boston, New York, Miami and the Philadelphia area, and wraps up with a mid-November, three-night stand in Los Angeles. Details are shown below.
Tickets for several shows are set to hit the box office on Friday (8/28) and Saturday (8/28), while those for the New York and Miami dates are scheduled for release on Sept. 10, according to information posted at Morrissey's website.
Backing Morrissey on stage are guitarists Boz Boorer and Jesse Tobias, bassist Gary Day, keyboardist Mike Farrell and drummer Dean Butterworth.
Irish singer/songwriter Damien Dempsey will open the North American shows. Morrissey's new Attack Records label plans to issue Dempsey's latest album, "Seize the Day," in November.
The tour backs Morrissey's May release, "You Are the Quarry," which features the cut "Irish Blood, English Heart."
