Briefly: John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Grammys, Destiny's Child

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will serve as John Fogerty 's back-up band on their upcoming five-city leg of the Vote for Change tour, Springsteen told the New Jersey Star Ledger.

"John's coming, he doesn't have a band right now, so we're gonna do our best for him," Springsteen reportedly said.

The Vote for Change tour--which is actually six separate mini-tours--runs Oct. 1-8.

Destiny's Child is seeking "25 of the hottest male dancers in the country to help promote the multi-platinum vocal trio's forthcoming new album through performances on tour, TV appearances/specials, and music videos," the group said in an announcement.

Auditions will be held in New York City (Aug. 8), Atlanta (Aug. 12), Los Angeles, (Aug. 14), Chicago (Aug. 15) and Houston (Aug. 16). More details are available at Destiny's Child's website.

Destiny's Child's as-yet-untitled fifth album is expected to hit stores in November, Columbia Records announced earlier this summer. It will be the follow up to the trio's smash 2001 set, "Survivor."
