John Mayer --for whom a full headlining concert apparently isn't enough stage time--will also give in-store performances in a number of cities where his summer tour is touching down.
The singer/songwriter has unveiled plans to play acoustic sets and sign autographs at record stores in Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston and Nashville. Details are shown below, and additional information--including store addresses and appearance times--are posted at Mayer's website.
The in-store appearances punctuate Mayer's summer amphitheatre tour, which runs through the end of August. Maroon 5 and DJ Logic hold down the opening slots.
Mayer is backing last September's "Heavier Things," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. The set includes Mayer's latest single, "Come Back to Bed."
The music video for the album's previous single, "Clarity," is streaming at Mayer's website, as is a video that documents the making of the clip.
