Rocker Ryan Adams , who broke his wrist during a fall from a Liverpool stage in January, is preparing to return to the road in North America.
Adams so far is scheduled to perform at Atlanta's The Tabernacle on Sept. 15, at Texas' Austin City Limits Festival on Sept. 17, and at San Francisco's Warfield on Sept. 22.
Country veteran George Strait has been setting records in Canada, according to his publicist.
Strait's just-concluded three-night stand at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary grossed $3.3 million ($4.4 million Canadian), a new venue record. That followed his record-breaking $2.1 million gross at Edmonton's Rexall Place over the weekend.
The first four Atlantic Records albums from Canadian rockers Rush --1989's "Presto," 1991's "Roll the Bones," 1993's "Counterparts" and 1996's "Test for Echo"--have been remastered, and will be re-released on Aug. 24. Rush is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean is reportedly planning a Dec. 5 benefit concert in his troubled home country of Haiti. Proceeds from the show will be donated to unspecified efforts to stabilize the country, according to the Associated Press.
