OutKast, Usher, Beyonce top BET Awards

OutKast , Usher and Beyonce were the big winners at Tuesday night's (6/29) BET Awards, taking home a pair of trophies each.

Hip-hop group OutKast won in the Video of the Year and Best Group categories. Singer/actress Beyonce got the nod in the Best Female R&B Artist category, and also shared the Best Collaboration award for "Crazy in Love," a track that also features Jay-Z .

Usher was honored as Best Male R&B Artist, as well as in the Viewer's Choice category for "Yeah," a single that features guest performances by Ludacris and Lil Jon.

Among the night's musical performers were Janet Jackson and Rick James.

The awards were handed out during a ceremony hosted by actress Mo'Nique at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Isley Brothers were presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the event.
