Duran Duran 's founding lineup, which reunited last year, is set to issue its first new album since 1983's "Seven & the Ragged Tiger" in October.
The as-yet-untitled album was written in the south of France and recorded in London, where the group is currently working with producers Rich Harrison (Beyonce, Usher) and Don Gilmore (Good Charlotte, Pearl Jam).
Country singer Glen Campbell , who pleaded guilty last month to two misdemeanor charges related to a 2003 drunken driving incident in Phoenix, has been sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Under a furlough agreement, Campbell will be allowed to leave jail for 12 hours each day. He'll also be on probation for two years, and must perform 75 hours of community service.
Singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw will issue a live acoustic edition of his debut album, "Chariot," on July 27, according to J Records.
The 11 tracks were recorded during a two-day session at Dumbo Studios in New York City.
DeGraw is also scheduled to make a July 26 appearance at Tower Records at Broadway and West 4th in New York City, and will follow it that night with a show at New York club Joe's Pub.
San Francisco indie-pop group Beulah has announced that it is breaking up. The group's final show will be a free Aug. 5 show at New York City's Battery Park.
