Jason Mraz , who launches a new round of tour dates on Friday night (5/14), has added a number of shows to his itinerary.
The singer-songwriter's June schedule now includes several California stops--including a two-night stand in Los Angeles--as well as stops in Portland, OR; Las Vegas; and San Diego.
Mraz has also signed on for a May 29 performance at a radio festival in Houston; a May 30 opening set for Fuel in South Carolina; and a June 27 performance at Milwaukee's Summerfest. Details appear below.
Dubbed the Curbside Prophets Tour, Mraz's headlining run also features up-and-coming artists Raul Midon, Makana and DJ Bob Necksnapp.
Later this summer, Mraz embarks on a brief opening stint with Dave Matthews Band that begins on Aug. 31 in Marysville, CA, and wraps up in the Salt Lake City area on Sept. 8.
Mraz is backing his 2002 debut, "Waiting for my Rocket to Come," which features the cuts "You & I Both," "I'll Do Anything," "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)" and "Curbside Prophet." All four songs are streaming at Mraz's website.
The site also contains information about an eBay auction for front-row tickets and a signed Curbside Prophets Tour poster. All of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Make a Wish Foundation, according to the site.
An alternate version of "Curbside Prophet" that Mraz remixed with production duo Sly & Robbie turns up on the recently released soundtrack for the Olsen-twins flick "New York Minute."
