Cyndi Lauper stays busy with more tour dates behind last year's "At Last," and the release of a new concert DVD.
Lauper plans to launch the new round of U.S. shows in mid-July, and dates so far stretch into mid-September. The itinerary also includes a two-night stand in Rama, Ontario.
Meanwhile, Sony Music next month issues "Live at Town Hall," a live DVD that captures Lauper's March 11 performance in New York City. A full tracklisting is posted at Lauper's website.
Released last November, Lauper's "At Last" features her renditions of classic hits including The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody," Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "Walk on By," Smokey Robinson's "You Really Got a Hold On Me," and the title track, originally recorded by Etta James.
Special guests on the album include Tony Bennett on "Makin' Whoopie," and Stevie Wonder, who plays harmonica on "Until You Come Back to Me," a track he once recorded.
