Teen pop-star Hilary Duff hits the road this spring and summer for more live shows that support her debut solo album.
Duff has lined up a handful of mid-May performances, and has also mapped out a number of late-July and early August dates throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Tickets for a number of shows are on sale now, and members of Duff's fan club have access to online pre-sales, according to her website.
Hardcore fans have a chance to snag premium seats for Duff's May 16 charity performance at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA, via an online auction that Ticketmaster is hosting. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.) Proceeds benefit Kids with a Cause, "a charity focused on implementing programs that help to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged youth while enhancing their self-esteem and confidence," according to the auction's webpage.
Last year, Duff released her solo debut, "Metamorphosis." The set peaked at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart, thanks in part to its chart-topping hit-single, "So Yesterday,"
Duff, who rose to fame in the lead role on the television show "Lizzie McGuire," made her recording debut on the show's 2002 soundtrack album, which featured her single "I Can't Wait." Later that year, she released a collection of holiday covers.
Earlier this month, Duff won the Kids Choice Award for Favorite Female Singer, and the TRL Award for Fake ID (artist under 21).
