Briefly: ACM Awards, Britney Spears, Dieselboy, Henry Mancini, Otep

Martina McBride , Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Montgomery Gentry and Lonestar are the first group of acts confirmed to perform during the 39th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

CBS will telecast the ACM ceremony live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on May 26.

The Hollywood Reporter, citing unnamed sources, reports that Britney Spears ' camp is shopping a reality-TV series that would feature behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming European leg of her current tour.

Drum-and-bass DJ and producer Dieselboy will issue a new album titled "The Dungeonmaster's Guide" on May 18.

Disc one of the two-CD set features Dieselboy's original mixes of BT, Sasha, Tiestro and Josh Wink tracks, among others. The second disc features previously unreleased remixes of tracks from Dieselboy's Human label.

A 37-cent U.S. Postage Stamp bearing the image of composer Henry Mancini was officially released during a Tuesday (4/13) ceremony in Los Angeles.

The stamp features a painting by artist Victor Stabin that shows Mancini conducting, with the titles of some of his most popular film and television projects shown on a screen behind him. An image of The Pink Panther--a reminder of one of Mancini's most popular works--appears in the stamp's lower-left corner.

Los Angeles metal purveyors Otep will drop their sophomore album, "House of Secrets," on July 27th, according to Capitol Records.

The set was produced with Greg Wells, whose past credits include work with Deftones, Michelle Branch and Elton John.

Otep will back the new album with a slot on the upcoming Ozzfest tour.
