
Teen star Aaron Carter , 16, and his mother have worked through their dispute, and his mother will again help to manage his career, according to an Associated Press report.
Last month, Carter announced that he was firing his mother--who is also his co-manager--and filing to become emancipated. He accused her of taking more than $100,000 from his bank account without his permission.
Carter's mother and father reportedly are embroiled in an acrimonious split.
Dancehall artist Beenie Man reportedly suffered broken ribs and a broken nose in a Thursday morning (1/15) car accident in Kingston, Jamaica. The rapper, whose real name is Anthony Moses Davis, evidently ran his Hummer off of a Kingston highway, and the vehicle flipped.
Sales of Josh Groban 's "Closer" album jumped by more than a third to about 110,000 copies in the last week thanks to a Target promotion, enough to propel the set from No. 11 to No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, according to industry sources.
The album, which has been in stores for nine weeks, has sold nearly two million copies to date.

Capitol Records will reissue George Harrison 's Dark Horse Records catalog, which has been out of print for years, on Feb. 24.
Each of the original six albums--"Thirty Three & 1/3," "George Harrison," "Somewhere in England," "Gone Troppo," "Cloud Nine" and "Live in Japan"--has been digitally remastered, and all but "Live in Japan" contain previously unavailable bonus tracks.
The albums will also be available in a boxed set that includes an exclusive DVD.
British rockers The Darkness plan to launch a month-long tour on March 24 to support their debut album, "Permission to Land." The itinerary hasn't been released.
