Neil Young & Crazy Horse roll out additional tour details

More details about the latest batch of Neil Young & Crazy Horse concerts are emerging, with dates, venues and ticket on-sale information now in focus for many shows.

According to organizers, tickets begin rolling out to the general market on Saturday (12/13), when on-sales start for the tour's stops in Vancouver, BC; Portland, OR; Albuquerque, NM; Colorado Springs, CO; and Rosemont, IL. Tickets for the tour's Los Angeles stop go on sale on Sunday (12/14), and on-sales begin for two New York shows on Monday (12/15).

In many markets, members of tour-promoter Clear Channel Entertainment's getAccess club have the first shot at tickets via a presale that is currently underway. Information is available at Clear Channel's website.

Young has been on the road since the summer, well before his new concept album, "Greendale," hit stores in August.

During this year's shows, Young and Crazy Horse played material from "Greendale"--which tells the tale of a fictional family named the Greens who live in the fictional town of Greendale--during their first set. After a break, they returned to play a set focusing on other material from Young's career. The early-2004 shows will continue to feature the elaborate stage production and live actors used during the 2003 outing, according to Clear Channel Entertainment.

Crazy Horse's lineup consists of longtime members Ralph Molina (drums), Billy Talbot (bass) and Frank "Poncho" Sampedro (guitar).

Venues and dates remain unannounced for planned tour stops in Moline, IL; Cleveland; Hershey, PA; Hartford, CT; and Washington, DC, and additional cities may be added, according to organizers.
