Amy Grant, MercyMe join forces for winter arena tour

Contemporary Christian acts Amy Grant and MercyMe are set to head up the bill of The Imagine Tour, which visits about 25 markets this winter.

The outing, which also features Bebo Norman , opens in Nashville on Jan. 30, and runs through early March.

"I am so excited to be part of this tour with MercyMe," Grant said in a statement. "I've gotten to know all the guys over the past couple of years and they have truly amazed me with their songwriting ability, musicianship, and overall artistry."

Grant has sold more than 24 million albums during her career, according to a press release, and was recently inducted into the Gospel Music Association's Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Over the course of her career, she has won five GRAMMY® awards and 24 Dove Awards, which honor Christian music's top acts.

MercyMe broke through to pop audiences this year with its hit single "I Can Only Imagine," which is currently spending its seventh week atop Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Sales chart. The group is at work on a new album titled "Undone," which is due in stores in April.

Bebo Norman has been building a grassroots following via constant touring on the Christian-music scene in recent years. His latest album, 2002's "Myself When I Am Real," topped Billboard's Heatseekers chart during its debut week in stores.

The itinerary for The Imagine tour--which is tentative except where venues are listed--follows.
