Country singer Glen Campbell , 67, was arrested at his Phoenix home on Monday (11/24), after allegedly leaving the scene of a traffic accident.

According to published reports, a witness followed Campbell home after the accident, and called police. Police said that Campbell appeared to be intoxicated when they arrived at his home, and took him into custody.

Campbell was charged with extreme drunken driving--an Arizona charge that applies when blood-alcohol test results are above 0.15 percent--and hit-and-run.

As Campbell was about to be released, he reportedly kneed an officer in the thigh, and was arrested again on an assault charge. He was released on Tuesday morning on $2,000 bail.
