Bryan Adams tours Great White North while album hangs in limbo
Canadian Bryan Adams connects with his countrymen during a November tour of his homeland.
Adams has lined up a eight shows that are split evenly between British Columbia and Alberta. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster's Canadian website. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.)
The outing comes despite the fact that Adams has not released a new collection of studio material since 1998's "On a Day Like Today." As of last month, the singer-songwriter was writing the twelfth and final song for his next album, but the set won't be out in 2003, and no release date is set, according to his official website.
In June, Adams issued "Live at the Budokan," a two-DVD and single-CD collection that captures his June 2000 performance at the famous Japanese venue.
Adams, who rose to fame in the '80s, is best known for a catalog of hits that includes "Straight from the Heart," "Cuts Like a Knife," "This Time," "Run to You," "Summer of '69" and "It's Only Love" and "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You."
