Thursday, Thrice, Coheed & Cambria link up for fall club tour

Thursday backs its latest album this fall during a triple-bill tour that also features fellow rockers Thrice and Coheed & Cambria.

The outing, which is booked into clubs throughout the U.S., kicks off on Oct. 17, and runs until late November. Tickets for most shows are on sale now.

Next Wednesday (10/15), Thursday and Thrice warm up for the road trip with an acoustic performance at Apple Computer's retail store in New York City's SoHo district. Admission is free, and the first 100 people through the door will receive a limited-edition poster; the store will also give away an Apple iPod during the event.

New Jersey-based quintet Thursday released its major-label debut, "War All the Time," in September on Island Records. The album features the cut "Signals Over the Air," which is streaming at the band's website. The site is also streaming the track's companion music video.

Thrice's Island Records debut, "The Artist in the Ambulance," surfaced in August. The California quartet is streaming samples of all 12 of the album's tracks at its official website.

On Tuesday (10/7), New York's Coheed & Cambria issued "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3," its second set for indie label Equal Vision. The entire album is streaming at the group's artist page on MP3.com.
