Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Greatest Hits,' live DVD on the way in November

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have set a Nov. 18 release date for "Greatest Hits," an album that features 14 of the best-known tracks from the group's 20-year career.

The set will also include two new tracks, "Fortune Faded" and "History," which the band recorded during its recent "By the Way" tour.

Also on the compilation are "Higher Ground" from 1989's "Mother's Milk"; "Give It Away," "Under the Bridge," "Breaking the Girl" and "Suck My Kiss" from 1991's "Blood Sugar Sex Magik"; "My Friends" from 1995's "One Hot Minute"; "Californication," "Scar Tissue," "Otherside," "Parallel Universe" and "Road Trippin'" from 2000's "Californication"; and the title track and "Universally Speaking" from last year's "By the Way." Rounding out the set is "Soul to Squeeze," from the 1993 "Coneheads" soundtrack.

A special CD/DVD edition of "Greatest Hits" features 15 videos, including two--"Road Trippin'" and "Universally Speaking"--not previously released in the U.S. It will also include commentary from band members and video directors, making-of documentaries, and footage from the group's 2000 "Californication" tour.

Also on Nov. 18, the concert DVD "Red Hot Chili Peppers: Live at Slane"--recorded in Ireland before a crowd of more than 80,000 last August --is set to hit stores. The DVD features concert performances of "By The Way," "Scar Tissue," "Around The World," "Universally Speaking," "Parallel Universe," "Zephyr Song," "Throw Away Your Television," "Havana Affair," "Otherside," "Purple Stain," "Don't Forget Me," "Right On Time," "Can't Stop," "Venice Queen," "Give It Away," "Californication," "Under the Bridge" and "Power of Equality."
