Marilyn Manson , Godsmack , Queens of the Stone Age, Staind , A Perfect Circle and Cypress Hill are among the acts scheduled to appear at this fall's Voodoo Music Experience festival.
The event--which in previous years was dubbed the Voodoo Fest-- takes place in New Orleans on Oct. 31-Nov. 2, and will also feature The Roots, Mos Def, P.O.D., String Cheese Incident, Ludacris, The Donnas and others (see below). Also on the roster is Fuel, which spends the month leading up to the festival at the helm of the tie-in "Road to Voodoo" tour. That run features fellow Voodoo Music Experience act Smile Empty Soul.
Tickets hit the box office on Friday (8/20), according to the festival's website. Additional acts will sign on in the coming weeks, according to organizers. A performance schedule was not available at press time.
The Voodoo Music Experience's website features information on hotel accommodations and travel arrangements, directions to the event and a map of the massive festival site.
The annual Voodoo Music festival began in 1999. All four previous editions were one-day events that took place on Halloween.
