The British-born duo Floetry --during a Thursday (7/17) press conference co-hosted by Arsenio Hall and Tyrese in Beverly Hills--picked up four nominations to lead the pack for this year's Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.
Erykah Badu , Heather Headley and Vivian Green were close behind, earning three nods each, while 702, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and TLC got a pair of nominations apiece.
Winners will be announced during a two-hour prime time TV special that will be broadcast live from Southern California's Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Aug. 23.
The event will be co-hosted by actress-comedienne Aisha Tyler, actor-comedian Arsenio Hall, singer-actor Tyrese and three-time 2003 Lady of Soul nominee Headley.
