
Alt-rockers Cake have unveiled the lineup for their second Unlimited Sunshine Tour, and it's even more eclectic than the tour's debut bill.
Joining the Sacramento group this year will be rock veterans Cheap Trick, garage-rockers The Detroit Cobras, old-timey bluegrass group The Hackensaw Boys and 76-year-old country legend Charlie Louvin of The Louvin Brothers, according to Cake's official website.
Cake was joined on last year's Unlimited Sunshine Tour by Kinky, The Hackensaw Boys, Modest Mouse, De La Soul and The Flaming Lips.
This year's outing will take place during the first two weeks of September and will focus on major cities; the confirmed itinerary hasn't been announced.
Celia Cruz , the Cuban-born singer known as the "Queen of Salsa," died of cancer at her home in Ft. Lee, N.J., on Wednesday (7/16). She was believed to be about 79 years old, according to published reports.
Cruz fled to the U.S. in 1960, and refused to return to Cuba as long as Fidel Castro was in power. In the U.S., she joined forces with legendary drummer Tito Puente, with whom she helped to popularize Latin music for U.S. and European audiences.
