Rapper Lil' Kim has mapped out a brief tour in support of "La Bella Mafia," her first album since 2000's platinum-selling "The Notorious K.I.M."
On June 29, she will perform with LL Cool J at Bridgeport, CT's Arena at Harbor Yard, however her headlining dates begin on July 14 in New Orleans. The jaunt primarily hits House of Blues venues, with several other clubs interspersed on the itinerary.
"La Bella Mafia" sits at No. 12 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It has sold more than 500,000 copies. After 15 weeks on The Billboard 200 album chart, it currently occupies the No. 37 slot.
"La Bella Mafia" was inspired by the 1997 movie "Bella Mafia," in which Mafia widows take over their husbands' business and avenge their deaths, according to Atlantic Records.
