Deftones set appearances between Summer Sanitarium dates

Though the Summer Sanitarium tour will be their primary focus in the coming months, the Deftones will also squeeze several headlining dates into their schedule.

The Sacramento, Calif.-based rockers are on the road behind their self-titled fourth album, which features the single "Minerva." That track and its companion music video are streaming at the band's website.

Besides its 11 new tracks, the enhanced CD includes a 20-page color booklet, 20 minutes of exclusive video footage and 150 candid photos.

"Deftones" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart last month, selling more than 167,000 copies during its first week in stores. "White Pony," the Deftones' 2000 release, has sold more than a million copies to date.

The Summer Sanitarium tour will tour large North American venues in July and August. The bill also features Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Mudvayne.
