Denver-area's Red Rocks to host inaugural Mountain Jam
A diverse lineup that includes 50 Cent , the Doors 21st Century, Korn and Evanescence will be on the bill of the first Coors Light Mountain Jam, which takes place on Aug. 30 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colo.
The day-long, end-of-summer festival will also feature performances by P.O.D., the Roots, DMC, American Hi-Fi, Gov't Mule and Groove Armada.
Besides music, the event will feature a DJ stage, a ski-and-snowboard demonstration tent and "a 'chill-out' lounge to take a break from the non-stop action," according to a press release.
Tickets, priced at $50, are scheduled to go on sale on June 7 at 10 a.m. Mountain Time at www.coorslight.com. Additional information will be available at the Coors Light website by the end of May, according to Clear Channel.
Coors is following in the footsteps of the Rolling Rock Town Fair, another brewery-sponsored event that has taken place in Pennsylvania for the last three years. The fourth edition of the Rolling Rock Town Fair takes place on July 26, and will feature Blink-182, Puddle of Mudd, 311, Def Leppard, Sum 41, Saliva and Trapt.
