Though Elton John is about to conclude his latest co-headlining run with fellow piano man Billy Joel , his touring plans for the year are far from over.
John has scheduled three shows on his own for late May and early June in Green Bay, Wis.; Lafayette, La.; and Laredo, Texas.
He'll spend the rest of June and July touring Europe, with additional European dates scheduled to get underway in late November. The European itinerary is posted at John's official website.
Joel and John called off an April 28 concert in Toronto after the World Health Organization issued a since-rescinded advisory that travelers should avoid the city because of the SARS virus.
At the time, John's camp announced that the singer--sans Joel--may schedule a stop in Toronto during a headlining run through Eastern Canada that is under consideration for November.
Joel and John have co-headlined five tours since 1994, the latest of which opened in February.
John's latest album is 2001's "Songs from the West Coast."
