Musiq leads month-long Grey Goose Music Tour

Soul artist Musiq heads up the second annual Grey Goose Music Tour, a 21-city outing that kicks off on May 22 in Washington, D.C.

Jaguar Wright will support on the first half of the tour, and Vivian Green takes over on the second half.

Musiq--formerly known as Musiq Soulchild--is on the road to support his multi-platinum sophomore album, "Juslisen," which he released almost a year ago; the set netted the hit singles "Half Crazy" and "Don't Change." He recently entered the studio to begin work on his third release.

Since the late-2000 release of his first album--the platinum "Aijuswanaseing"--Musiq has collected a BET Award, four Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards and three Soul Train Awards.

Wright--a former backup singer for Jay-Z--recently completed work on her sophomore album, "And Your Point Is ...," which features producer Rafael Saadiq, as well as Mike City and Carvan & Ivan.

Green's debut album, "A Love Story," was recently certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipping more than 500,000 copies. The CD surfaced in November of 2002.

Last year's Grey Goose Music Tour--sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka--featured Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
