Godsmack , whose new album is due in stores next week, has expanded its tour itinerary into June.
The outing kicks off in Miami on April 25, and the group has filled in many of the blanks for the month of May. More shows will be added.
The Boston rock quartet continues to offer members of its recently launched fan club--the Voodoo Tribe--access to ticket pre-sales and special ticket packages, some of which include an opportunity to meet the band. Details are posted at the fan club's website.
On Tuesday (4/8), Godsmack releases "Faceless," which features the single "Straight Out of Line." The album is the group's first with new drummer Shannon Larkin, who last year replaced longtime drummer Tommy Stewart. David Bottrill, known for his work with Tool, produced the set.
Godsmack's website says that the material on "Faceless" features "more melody in music and vocals, deeper subject matter and extraordinarily potent guitar solos ... ."
The group will help launch the new album with a number of release-week appearances, including a nationwide radio broadcast on Monday night (4/7), a Tuesday night (4/8) slot on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and a Friday night (4/11) appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Details are available at Godsmack's website.
