Kelly Osbourne , whose first headlining tour kicks off on Sunday (3/9), has added to the run a batch of dates that stretch into mid April.
The teen star--made famous by the MTV reality series that documents the private lives of metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne and his family--is hitting the road to support her debut album, "Shut Up!," which hit stores late last November. The set features the hit-single title track, as well as Osbourne's cover of Madonna's '80s-era hit "Papa Don't Preach."
Epic Records enlisted Osbourne to record her solo album after "Papa Don't Preach," which was originally featured on the label's July 2002 novelty release "The Osbourne Family Album," made a splash at radio and on MTV.
All 12 cuts from "Shut Up!" are streaming at Osbourne's official website.
One-man-band Har Mar Superstar--a.k.a. Sean Tillman--holds down the opening slot on Osbourne's tour. Tillman was Osbourne's date at last year's MTV Video Music Awards.
In addition to her tour, Osbourne's promotional schedule includes an appearance on "The Carson Daly Show" on Thursday night (3/6), and an online chat set for next Monday (3/10). Details are posted at her website.
