Taking Back Sunday continues its push behind debut album

Pop-punkers Taking Back Sunday , who just finished up a month-long run through the western U.S., head back out late next month for another round of shows.

Most of the group's upcoming dates focus on the eastern and midwestern states. Tickets for the many of the dates hit the box office this week.

Based out of Amityville, N.Y., Taking Back Sunday has spent much of the past year on the road in support of its debut release, "Tell All Your Friends," which surfaced last March. The group's 2002 touring schedule was temporarily waylaid, however, when group frontman Adam Lazzara fell off of the stage, gashed his face in two places and dislocated his hip.

"You know you're in trouble when the doctors are shaking their heads saying 'eeee...that's a bad one' as they are knocking you out to put the hip back into place," Lazzara said in a statement posted on the band's website.

Following its spring outing, Taking Back Sunday is slated to appear on this summer's Van's Warped Tour roster.
