Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn , Martina McBride , Jo Dee Messina , Trace Adkins , Montgomery Gentry and Keith Urban are among the acts scheduled to appear at this year's four-day Fan Fair celebration in downtown Nashville.
As usual, hundreds of artists are expected to participate in the event, and more than 40 hours of concerts are scheduled at various Music City venues during its June 5-8 run. The Country Music Association presents Fan Fair annually.
The largest events will take place at The Coliseum (formerly Adelphia Coliseum), the stadium that houses the NFL's Tennessee Titans. Brooks & Dunn, Deana Carter, Chesney, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Lonestar and McBride are already confirmed to perform at the venue, and more acts will be announced.
Other artists currently set to appear on various stages at Fan Fair 2003 include Steve Azar, Chris Cagle, Terri Clark, Kellie Coffey, Bill Engvall, Andy Griggs, Jennifer Hanson, Tracy Lawrence, Little Big Town, MARCEL, John Michael Montgomery, Neal McCoy, Pinmonkey, Sixwire, Anthony Smith, Marty Stuart, Rick Trevino, Trick Pony, and Mark Wills.
In addition to the nightly shows at The Coliseum, daily concerts will take place on two stages at Nashville's Riverfront Park, and late-night concerts are set at various downtown clubs. Autograph signings by various artists are scheduled for the Nashville Convention Center.
Fan Fair had been held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds since 1982, but it was moved downtown in 2001 after organizers complained of inadequate facilities and declining ticket sales.
Four-day Fan Fair 2003 ticket packages, divided into four categories based on the level of reserved seating at The Coliseum, are now on the market. According to organizers, Fan Fair's new Gold Circle ticket package is already sold out.
