Trapt backs debut album with club tour

Los Gatos, Calif.-based rockers Trapt are hitting the U.S. club circuit to support their self-titled debut, which hit stores last November.

The new album features the group's first single, "Headstrong." That song, along with album tracks "Still Frame," "Echo" and "Made of Glass" are streaming at the group's official website.

The site also features a streaming version of the "Headstrong" music video.

Wired fans who prefer MP3s to CDs can download from the group's website an MP3-formatted version of "Trapt" for $7.99. The deal includes delivery of the album artwork and an autographed poster, according to the site.

Trapt formed in 1995, and cites Korn, Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, 311 and Metallica as its influences. The group recorded its 12-song debut in Vancouver, British Columbia, with producer Garth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine).
