Singer-songwriter Tori Amos returns to the road in February to play a month of northeastern U.S. dates behind her new album, "Scarlet's Walk."
Backing Amos will be her longtime collaborators Jon Evans (bass) and Matt Chamberlain (drums). Opening acts hadn't been announced at press time.
The U.S. concerts will come on the heels of Amos' current European tour.
Amos left Atlantic Records last year, when the label shed a long list of well-known acts from its roster. She quickly signed on with Epic, and "Scarlet's Walk" hit stores in late October.
The album is described by Epic as "a sonic novel" featuring a main character named Scarlet, "a woman who crisscrosses the country in search of answers, in search of herself."
Amos self-produced the album, and recorded it in the same Cornwall, England studio where she recorded several of her previous albums.
