The People's Choice: Faith Hill, Eminem, Dixie Chicks, Creed

Faith Hill , Eminem , the Dixie Chicks and Creed took home People's Choice Awards in the ceremony's musical categories on Sunday (1/12).

Country singer Hill was honored as the Favorite Female Musical Performer. Hill's fifth studio album, "Cry," hit stores last October.

Rapper Eminem, whose CD "The Eminem Show" was the top-selling album of 2002, won in the Favorite Male Musical Performer category.

The award for Favorite Group or Band was a tie between the Dixie Chicks and Creed. The Dixie Chicks released their third album, "Home," last August, and the group is expected to announce details of a major tour soon.

Creed's latest album, November 2001's "Weathered," sold nearly 900,000 copies during its first week in stores.

Actor Tony Danza hosted the awards ceremony, which was aired live on CBS from Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

In all, People's Choice Awards were presented in 16 television, film and music categories. Winners were determined by a nationwide Gallup poll.
