Henry Rollins announces 50 date U.S. spoken word tour
The versatile Henry Rollins will embark on a spoken word tour in early '03. In conjunction with the tour, Rollins will release a DVD/CD package entitled “I am Spazticus” featuring the best of the last 20 years of Rollins’ stand up discs. The DVD portion of the package features previously unreleased footage from Rollins’ 1999 residency at LA’s Luna Park.
Rollins continues to prove that he’s a diverse artist as he rounds out 2002 with the delivery of several projects. Besides his recent cameos in the movie "Jackass" and "The Drew Carey Show," he recently completed filming the movie Bad Boys 2 with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. Additionally, Rollins recently (Oct. 8) released "Rise Above," the benefit album that he spearheaded for the West Memphis Three. The Rollins Band also released a live album last spring.
