Moe Announces Tour Dates Including Opening Slots with Robert Plant
Jam band moe. will kick off a busy fall schedule starting August 30 with the band’s third annual "moe.down."
The three-day festival in Turin, N.Y., features kindred acts Medeski Martin and Wood, Galactic, Jazz Mandolin Project, and the Robert Randolph Band, among others. Past moe.down performers have included Ani DiFranco, David Grisman and Cracker.
This year's affair will coincide with the release of the band's second "Warts and All" live disc set. The three-disc package contains an unedited, full-length moe. performance.
The band will follow the weekend with opening slots on a string of Robert Plant solo dates, Sept. 2 through Sept. 13, following up with two nights at New York's Beacon Theater before heading west for more shows.
