Ryan Adams to follow European outing with U.S. run

Critics' darling Ryan Adams is heading to Europe next month for a tour of that continent, but will return to the U.S. by month's end for a round of coast-to-coast theater performances that currently stretches into mid-March.

Tickets for Adams' Feb. 25 kick-off in Los Angeles are already on sale, as are those for his March 3 stop in San Francisco. Tickets for the majority of the other scheduled dates are set for release on Saturday.

Adams is touring behind his second solo effort, "Gold" (Lost Highway), which was released last September. The album has garnered him two Grammy nods, with nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for the album's single, "New York, New York."

The singer also picked up a nomination in the Best Country Male Vocal category for his rendition of "Lovesick Blues," which appears on last September's "Timeless," a tribute to Hank Williams.

Adams' official website features a streaming version of the companion video for "New York, New York." Adams recently completed shooting the video for his latest single, "Answering Bell," according to Lost Highway's official website.
