Wu-Tang Clan, Killa Beez tackle North American clubs

Rap group Wu-Tang Clan is heading out on an extensive North American tour to push its album “Iron Flag” and the forthcoming CD from side project the Killa Beez, titled “The Sting.”

The jaunt kicks off on Feb. 21 in Atlanta, and the dates currently run through April 7.

The concerts will feature sets by Wu-Tang Clan and the Killa Beez, whose album “The Sting” (Koch/In the Paint/Wu-Tang Records), hits stores on March 12. The album is a reunion of sorts for past and current members of Wu-Tang Clan and those from the “many branches of the Wu-Tang family tree,” member RZA said in a press release.

"The Sting" features ODB, U-God, Inspectah Deck, Sunz of Man, Royal Fam, Black Knights, North star, American Cream Team as well as solo artists Solomon Childs, Lord Supurb and War Cloud. The album is the follow-up to the Killa Bees' 1998 debut record.

Wu-Tang Clan’s latest album, “Iron Flag,” was released on Loud Records in December.
