Nickelback plots more headlining dates

Nickelback 's tour in support of its breakthrough album, "Silver Side Up," shows no signs of slowing. The band has again extended the run, and dates are now scheduled through mid December.

At each of its November tour stops, the band is collecting donations from fans. The money will be given to the New York Firefighter 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund at a Nov. 30 ceremony while the band is in New York City, according to the group's publicist. Donations can be made at the band's merchandise table.

On Dec. 3, Nickelback is scheduled to perform an acoustic rendition of its chart-topping hit "How You Remind Me" on MTV's "Total Request Live." The song--featured on the group's Sept. 11 release "Silver Side Up"--peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in late September. The song's companion music video sits at No. 8 on MTV's latest weekly Top 20 Videos chart.

Roadrunner Records is streaming "Silver Side Up" in its entirety at its Nickelback website.

Last month, the Recording Industry Association of America platinum-certified "Silver Side Up" (Roadrunner) and gold-certified Silverback's previous release, last year's "The State," gold.

Nickelback's current tour features support acts Saliva and Default.
