Craig David plots a month of U.S. dates

English soul star Craig David has mapped out a month-long tour in support of his U.S. debut album, "Born to Do It."

David's itinerary consists of holiday radio festivals, save for a private performance for listeners of Pittsburgh radio station WKST-FM on Monday (11/12).

"Born to Do It" (Atlantic) sits at No. 90 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The record, which peaked at No. 11 on the chart, spawned the radio hit "Fill Me In." He debuted his latest single, "7 Days," on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in mid-October. He will perform on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" on Thursday night (11/8).

David is nominated for Best Kept Secret at the My VH1 Music Awards, slated for Dec. 2. He is up against Gorillaz, Coldplay, Five for Fighting and Nikka Costa. He is up for Top R&B Act at the first annual Top of the Pop Awards, named for the long-running British television program, which take place on Nov. 30 at Evening News Arena in Manchester, England.

The singer has been working on his follow-up to "Born to Do It" in England.
