Roger Waters takes 'In the Flesh' worldwide

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters will bring his "In the Flesh" concerts--which visited North America in 1999 and 2000--to much of the rest of the world in 2002.

Among the shows will be his first U.K. appearances since his "Radio K.A.O.S." performances at London's Wembley Arena in 1987, and his first European solo shows since 1984, according to a statement on Waters' official website.

Waters' 1999 tour was his first full-scale tour in twelve years. His only major performance of the '90s was a 1990 production of "The Wall" in front of more than 350,000 people at the site of the Berlin Wall, which had recently been destroyed.

The setlists for Waters' North American "In the Flesh" tours included material from both Pink Floyd and his solo albums, as well a recent song titled "Each Small Candle."

Waters' touring band includes Andy Fairweather-Low (guitar), Snowy White (guitar), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar and vocals), Graham Broad (drums), Jon Carin (keyboards), Andy Wallace (keyboards), Norbert Stachel (saxophone), Katie Kissoon (vocals), Susannah Melvoin (vocals) and PP Arnold (vocals).

According to a statement, Waters has been working on "Ca Ira," an opera in English and French, as well as a new rock album to be released in 2002.

Capitol Records will release the Pink Floyd retrospective album "Echoes - The Best Of Pink Floyd" on Nov. 6.
