D12 hits the road this fall

update: D12 , rapper Eminem 's side project, is heading out on a two-month tour in support of its debut album, "Devil's Night."

Eminem is not expected to tour with the group, but he has appeared as a "surprise guest" on some D-12 shows in the past.

The tour kicks off on Sept. 28 in Kalamazoo and dates run through early December. Details appear below.

D12 last toured the United States as part of the Warped Tour, but was kicked off of that festival after fighting with fellow Detroit rapper Esham Smith.

Thanks to the single "Purple Hills," "Devil's Night" (Interscope) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart before being ousted by Alicia Keys. The platinum-selling record sits at No. 30 this week.

D12 is bringing along Bionic Jive and Kottonmouth Kings as openers. Bionic Jive, another Interscope act, releases its debut album, "Armageddon Through Your Speaker," on Oct. 16.

Kottonmouth Kings fans can download 10-second clips from its forthcoming album, "Hidden Stash II: Kream of the Krop," on its official website. "Hidden Stash II" (Suburban Noize) is due in stores Oct. 9.
