David Byrne continues road work behind 'Look into the Eyeball'

David Byrne , who was on the road earlier this year, has embarked on the second leg of his North American tour in support of his seventh solo album, "Look into the Eyeball."

The tour, which runs through August, takes the former Talking Heads frontman to West Coast and East Coast markets that he missed on the initial jaunt.

The pop-based "Look into the Eyeball" (Luaka Bop) carries Latin, Philly soul and world beat influences, and features guest appearances from bassists Sebastian Steinberg (Soul Coughing) and Brad Jones (Jazz Passengers).

Earlier this week, Microsoft announced that every copy of its Windows XP operating system will come with a promotional song by Byrne. The track, "Like Humans Do" from "Look Into the Eyeball," will come preloaded in Windows Media Player for Windows XP, and will play as a digital audio track along with album art and lyrics.
