BOSTON--Citing “logistical issues,” Madonna ’s tour promoter has announced that the first night of the singer’s sold-out, two-night stand in Boston has been pushed back a day. No specific reason for the schedule change was given.
The previously scheduled Aug. 6 Boston performance will now take place on Aug. 7, according to Boston’s FleetCenter. Tickets for the original date will be honored on the new date, and refunds are being offered at the point of purchase.
The singer’s Aug. 8 performance at the venue is unaffected.
Madonna’s Drowned World Tour kicked off in Europe in early June. The outing’s U.S. leg began on Saturday (7/21) in Philadelphia, and continues on Wednesday night (7/25) in New York City with the first of five dates at Madison Square Garden.
