The Black Crowes --who, along with Oasis, completed a co-headlining tour of the U.S. last month--will kick off their own headlining run through North America in late August. The group is touring in support of its latest release, “Lions.”
The upcoming jaunt primarily comprises stops in markets that the Black Crowes did not hit during their run with Oasis. More dates are expected soon, according to the group’s publicist.
Released in early May, “Lions” (V2) was produced by Don Was (The Rolling Stones) and features the Crowes’ current hit single, “Soul Singing,” which is the No. 7 track on trade publication Radio & Records’ latest rock airplay chart.
A streaming-video version of the video for “Soul Singing” is currently available at the group’s official website.
The Crowes are currently on tour in Europe, and are scheduled to complete a swing through Japan by month’s end.
