Stevie Nicks has tapped singer-songwriter Bob Schneider as the opening act for her August and September dates. He joins the tour on Aug. 3 in Dallas and continues through Sept. 1.

Schneider, the former frontman for the Ugly Americans, has made a name for himself with his solo debut "Lonelyland" (Universal), which blends country, pop, blues and rock. He swept last year’s South by Southwest Austin Music Awards in 2000 with nine, and broke a record this year with 10.
