Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will head to North America later this year for a series of September and October dates in the U.S. and Canada. The group is touring in support of the recently released “No More Shall We Part.”
Cave’s stateside outing will begin with a two-night stand in Los Angeles in mid-September, and will also feature back-to-back performances in San Francisco and New York City, according to his official website.
“No More Shall We Part” (Warner Bros.) was released in April, and debuted at No. 180 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album, which is a follow-up to 1997’s “The Boatman’s Call,” was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios. During the recording sessions, a live, in-studio video was shot by director John Hillcoat ("Ghosts ... of the Civil Dead"); no release date has been set for the video.
In March, Cave went on a short tour of the U.S., during which the Bad Seeds did not back him.
Cave and the Bad Seeds are currently touring Europe.
