Bob Dylan 's summer itinerary opens in Norway on June 24, and keeps him in Europe through July. Then in August, Dylan plans to spend some time on the U.S. fair circuit.
The 60-year-old icon is scheduled to perform at fairs in four U.S. cities: Des Moines, Iowa; Springfield, Ill.; Pueblo, Colo.; and Lancaster, Calif. Dylan is also scheduled to play a concert at a performing arts center in Sun City West, Ariz.
About half of Dylan's European tour will focus on Scandinavia and Italy. Stops in Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and Ireland are also on the itinerary.
The latest Dylan track to hit stores was his cover of "Return to Me," a song first popularized by Dean Martin. The song can be found on "The Sopranos--Peppers and Eggs: Music from the HBO Series" (Columbia).
