Stevie Nicks maps full summer tour route

Stevie Nicks , who earlier this month announced the initial dates of a summer tour, has firmed up a two-month itinerary that kicks off on July 6.

Nicks' album “Trouble in Shangri-La” (Reprise) hit stores on May 1, and marks the Fleetwood Mac alumnus’ first collection of all-new material in almost seven years. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Internet Albums chart.

“Every Day,” the first single from “Shangri-La,” is slowly climbing Billboard’s Adult Contemporary singles chart, up to No. 19 this week. Meanwhile, follow-up single “Planets of the Universe” is surfacing on radio, and is sitting at No. 9 on trade publication Radio & Records’ latest adult alternative airplay chart.

“Trouble in Shangri-La” features guest appearances from Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines (on "Too Far from Texas"), Macy Gray ("Bombay Sapphires"), Sarah McLachlan ("Love Is") and Sheryl Crow ("Sorcerer"). Crow will share the bill with Nicks on her July 7 tour stop in Clarkston, Mich.

Nicks, meanwhile, makes a cameo of her own in R&B trio Destiny’s Child’s latest music video for the song “Bootylicious.” The track from Destiny’s Child’s May 1 release, “Survivor” (Columbia), samples the opening riff from Nicks’ ‘80s-era hit “Edge of Seventeen.”
