3 Doors Down fills in blanks in summer schedule
Rock band 3 Doors Down --which has sold more than 4 million copies of its major label debut album, "The Better Life"--has filled out its summer schedule, adding dates in more than a dozen new cities.
The band performs a series of dates in Europe and Australia before returning to the States for shows with Oleander, Seven Mary Three, Tantric and Lifehouse. The U.S. jaunt is extended through Sept. 8, according to 3 Doors Down's official website.
3 Doors Down's fourth single, "Be Like That" has been chosen as the first single from the upcoming "American Pie 2" soundtrack, and will be released to radio May 29.
Seven Mary Three’s latest album, "The Economy of Sound" (Mammoth Recordings), will be released on June 5. Oleander’s "Unwind" (Universal), which was released in March, spawned the minor radio hit "Are You There?" Tantric, whose self-titled album is on Maverick Records, is made up of former members of Days of the New. "Tantric" sits at No. 83 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Lifehouse, who recently finished an arena tour with matchbox twenty and Everclear, released "No Name Face" (DreamWorks) in October. The platinum-selling record is at No. 18 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
