Madonna tickets go quickly in five cities

Tickets for the U.S. leg of Madonna 's Drowned World Tour went on sale in their first five U.S. markets over the weekend, and all shows sold out "within hours," according to tour promoter SFX Entertainment.

More than 100,000 tickets were sold on Saturday and Sunday (5/12-13) for two Madonna concerts each in Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Chicago and Oakland, at prices ranging from $45 and $250 (plus ticketing and other fees), the promoter reported.

The next batch of Madonna on-sales is scheduled to take place on May 19; see the itinerary below for details (on-sale times are often subject to change).

Madonna will be touring for the first time in eight years to support her latest CD, "Music" (Maverick). Her current single, "What It Feels Like for a Girl," currently sits at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and at No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Chart.
