Briefly News and Comment: Guns N' Roses European tour postponed?

NME.com reported that Guns N' Roses "have postponed their entire European tour because guitarist Buckethead has suffered 'internal haemorrhaging.'" Billboard.com, however--which quoted a management spokesperson--reported that the tour was in limbo, but that the European shows are "all on as of right now."

Atlantic Records has announced a June 19 release date for Stone Temple Pilots ' forthcoming album, “Shangri-La Dee Da,” produced by Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Train). The first single is set to hit radio in early June.

According to VH1.com, Brett Gurewitz is recording with his old band Bad Religion, and the resultant album will be released on Epitaph Records, which Gurewitz founded.

A recently released itinerary for Les Claypool's Frog Brigade has the band headlining two shows--June 16 in Orford, Ore., and June 29 in Red Hook, N.Y.--and opening for the String Cheese Incident in Somerset, Wis., on July 13, as well as opening several shows for Phil Lesh.
